The Green Planet Felt Game Mat is designed especially for planetary/Sci-Fi games, either 15mm/28mm skirmish games, 1/300th scale games, fighter craft games, or anything else you may want to play. These game mats are available with or without airbrushed crater artwork. If crater artwork is desired, the crater sizes can be modified to match the scale of your game -- you can have larger or smaller size craters airbrushed onto your game mat. Just ask. You may want to have a hex or square grid printed onto the game mat surface. The hexes, for example can be added so the crater artwork fits inside the hexes (available with 2 inch or larger hexes). This way the hex/square grid is NOT arbitrarily printed onto the game mat, but is instead added intelligently to the game mat to enhance your game play and the appearance of your game mat. The uses you will have for these mats is limited only by your own imagination.

NOTE: The position and number of craters airbrushed onto game mat may vary from game mat to game mat. Usually, on a Green Planet game mat with craters, there are between 18 and 24 craters per game mat. If you want large craters, there will be fewer craters on the game mat, while smaller craters will mean there will be more.

As with all Hotz Artworks felt game mats, the mats have been treated with a protective fabric binder that helps to prevent pilling and other forms of wear normally associated with felt, and also helps to repel water -- these mats are designed to take normal gaming punishment and should last a very long time.

Silk screen printed grid patterns: You have the choice of purchasing game mats printed with 1, 1½, 1¾, 2, 3, 4 or 5 inch hexes or 1, 2 or 4 inch squares, or you may choose a game mat without hexes. Note that we can only print hex/square grids onto sizes up to our full size mats. Mats are available in the following sizes:
Full-size (72 x 45 inches/183 x 114cm)
Double-size (72 x 90 inches/183 x 228cm)
Quarter-size (22 x 34 inches/56 x 86cm)
Half-size (45 x 34 inches/114 x 86cm)
